KARPATHOS
 

Karpathos is a huge island. The second largest after Rhodes. On the north side of the island your visit would not be complete without seeing the village of Olympos. This village is still very traditional. An ancient dialect is still spoken here and the villagers still hold steadfastly to their traditions and costumes. Karpathos has many beautiful beaches and it is a lovely place to explore. It has numerous tavernas, shops and small barsand it still remains unspoilt.

The Airport of Karpathos is linked by charter flights to much of Europe: Vienna, Graz, Salzburg, Munich, Frankfurt, Duesseldorf,Milano Amsterdam, Ljubljana,Helsinki Copenhagen, Oslo...
Olympic Airways connects Karpathos to Rhodes, Athens, Kassos and Sitia.
By Sea
Regular ferry service in season connects Karpathos to Rhodes, Pireaus (Athens) via Naxos, Kos, Kalymnos, Kassos, Halki, Samos and other islands.

ATTRACTION
In the northern village of Olympos, you'll see women in traditional costume baking bread in huge outdoor ovens a top hills.

 The harsh north winds make Karpathos a windsurfing paradise. Windsurfing boards can be rented at hotels.
